Elevate Your Style, Embrace Your VogueWelcome to Freedom Fashion Magazine, where style meets purpose and fashion becomes a catalyst for change. Launched at the groundbreaking LIT Freedom Fashion Show on August 15th, 2023, we are dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and raising consciousness about societal issues through the power of fashion.
LIT, which stands for Live In Triumph, is an initiative of My Precious Life organization, spearheaded by the visionary Anuradha Das. The show has been a platform to shed light on critical issues such as suicide prevention, domestic violence, and this year’s focus, unmasking depression. Freedom Fashion Magazine was born out of the need to amplify these voices and stories, showcasing not only the event itself but also featuring articles and content from individuals and communities dedicated to mental health wellness.
Under the umbrella of Golden Nib Publications, Freedom Fashion Magazine made its debut in the US on January 10th, 2024, and has since become a beacon of hope and inspiration. The magazine’s second US edition, released on March 4th, 2024, continues to shine a light on important societal issues while celebrating the latest fashion trends and styles.
We owe our success to the tireless efforts of Anuradha Das, the driving force behind My Precious Life, and the dynamic duo Githi Srinivasasn and Gina Vijayabhaskar, partners at Golden Nib Publications. Their vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment have propelled Freedom Fashion Magazine to new heights, inspiring change and making a positive impact with every issue.
Join us on this journey of empowerment, awareness, and style. Together, let’s make fashion more than just a statement—it’s a movement for a better world. Welcome to Freedom Fashion Magazine.

Dear Freedom Fashionistas,
As we embark on another exhilarating journey with the latest edition of Freedom Fashion Magazine, I am thrilled to share with you our profound commitment to fashion with a purpose. This year’s fashion show is not just about showcasing the latest trends and designs; it’s about unmasking something far deeper—the silent struggle that many face every day, the battle against depression.
In a world that often values appearance over substance, we at Freedom Fashion believe in the power of fashion to bring about positive change. Our runway will not only feature stunning garments and avant-garde designs but will also shed light on an issue that affects millions around the globe. By choosing “Unmasking Depression” as our focus, we strive to create awareness, foster understanding, and encourage a community that supports mental health.
Fashion is not just about what we wear; it’s a powerful tool that allows us to express our emotions, challenges societal norms, and connects us with the world around us. This year’s show is a testament to the transformative nature of fashion. By unmasking depression, we aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health and foster a sense of solidarity among our diverse community.
As the renowned fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent once said, “Over the years, I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it.” Similarly, at Freedom Fashion, we believe that the power of our message lies not just in the garments but in the individuals who wear them. Let this year’s show be a beacon of hope, a celebration of resilience, and a call to action.
Join us on this meaningful journey as we combine the glamour of the runway with the weightiness of a profound cause. Let’s unmask depression together, one step, one strut at a time.
With passion and purpose,
